Today was filled with shopping, walks on Waikki Beach, shopping, swimming and more shopping. We visited a market stall called Pick a Pearl in the International Market Place. The idea is to choose an oyster shell that is then opened revealing a pearl. The pearls can be white, pink or black depending on the conditions they grow in. Emily chose an oyster and to everyones surprise it contained twin pink pearls. Supposedly there is only a 5% chance of getting twins. Anyway, Emily was very excited and we had them made into some beautiful earings.
We spent the afternoon around the hotel pool and then believe it or not went shopping. The streets are much more crowded during the evening than during the day. The shops never seem to close.

Tomorrow we intend to spend the day seeing some of Hawaii's major attractions so will blog again then.
